In a tragic turn of events, reports have surfaced of a Wiggin Airways Beechcraft C99 Commuter crashing in Londonderry, New Hampshire, shortly after taking off from Manchester. This routine flight, known as WG1046, was headed to Presque Isle, with the affected aircraft identified as N53RP, a 42-year-old Beechcraft C99 Commuter.
According to FlightAware data, N53RP has been in service since 1982 and has changed hands over the years. Initially under Ameriflight Inc’s ownership in Burbank since June 2006, it was later transferred to UAS TRANSERVICES INC, which provides aircraft to Wiggins Airways.
The flight departed Manchester at 7:10 AM local time en route to Presque Isle. However, shortly after takeoff, it disappeared from radar screens, with the last ADS-B data indicating a sudden drop in altitude before vanishing.
Local fire crews responded to the crash site, confirming one occupant on board who was rescued. The status of the pilot remains unknown, as well as any potential casualties on the ground.
